We have viewed at least 25 apartments, and hope to sign a lease this week. Please pray with us that we will not only get the right apartment, but that we will have a ministry to the people surrounding us.

Step by step, we are getting our feet on the ground here in Kenya! We have successfully renewed our Alien Certificates,(yes I said Alien!)and our Kenyan Driver's licenses. And we are in the middle of purchasing a 1999 Pajero IO! Thanks for your prayers.

Ron and Christine arrived in Nairobi on 28th February! We had a great trip, and arrived with all of our luggage! God is very good! We had a good night's sleep, and spent our first full day looking for cars and renewing our Kenyan driver's license's.

We will meet up with the Eberhard family in Nairobi. They are here for a short survey trip, and are planning to return to Kenya as missionaries. Sybil and Christine will attend a ladies retreat. Matthew will come from school for a day to spend time with

| Mid-term with Matthew - 2006-10-10 |
Matthew had a 90.9 GPA for his mid-term grades, and an over all 3.4 GPA. We enjoyed the mid-term break together at a ranch near the school. Praise God for days of rest and family.

| Matthew's Mid-term Break - 2006-09-30 |
Matthew's mid term break is coming up next week, October 6-10th. We will travel to Nairobi, and then to Kijabe, to pick him up. We look forward to this family time.

| Funeral at Karatina - 2006-09-30 |
On September 28, Christine drove 7 people to the funeral for the younger sister of Leah Omondi, a teacher at our Nursery School at KBBC. Lydia died suddenly, 4 hours after a c-section. Leah does not know if she was saved.

After church, August 27, 2006, we headed to Nairobi. The next day, August 28, was arrival day for a new year at Rift Valley Academy. Matthew is in a new dorm, Nyati, with new dorm parents, Loren and Vicki Harrison.

July 27th, 2006 Ron and Matthew helped Christine to celebrate her birthday. She was born in 1956, in Denver, Colorado, so she is far from home.
